Ebba-Viva Fairisles: Dynami's Wrath (Pirates of Felicity #4) by Kelly St. Clare

Ebba-Viva and her family/friends’ quest to find all the pieces they need to defeat the Pillars of Six is getting really complicated and more dangerous! Love Plank’s old tales and how they are coming true to the wonder and mostly horror from the rest of the group. The romance is also getting a bit more complicated (Still rooting for Jagger. Love Caspian, but I just feel there’s something stronger there with Jagger...). Loved all the new mythical creatures. As always, humor is found throughout this book and lots of action and suspense too. Book five next!!!

Ebba-Viva Fairisles: Pillars of Six (Pirates of Felicity #3) by Kelly St. Clare

The Pillars of Six!!!! They are freaking scary! What Ebba-Viva goes through in this book, noooo! I just love that no matter what’s going on, she tries to stay positive and help others around her see why they need to continue on their quest. She’s growing up, becoming stronger physically and mentally. This book has it all if you love fantasy, romance ( Ooohhhh, Jagger! My heart skips every time he is with Viva, as he calls her. Awwww!), and of course, pirates. On to book four!

Ebba-Viva Fairisles: Stolen Princess (Pirates of Felicity #2) by Kelly St. Clare

Omg!!!!!! I just can’t stop reading this series! It’s so good! The adventures Ebba-Viva is going through with her fathers plus now they have a mysterious young man named Cosmo, a servant to the Prince of Exosia, traveling with them... oh-oh. And, I just love all the myths that are coming true around them. What’s really going on? Are they part of something greater? Okay, so like in the first book, there’s suspense (The bad pirates are really scary!), action, and as always, so many laughs! Reading book three next!

Ebba-Viva Fairisles: Immortal Plunder (Pirates of Felicity #1) by Kelly St. Clare

Omg!!!! I read The After trilogy and it was great! Now, this book with Ebba-Viva Fairisles, wow!!! Loved it! This story has adventure, suspense, mystery, comedy, romance, and the best part - pirates! From page one, you meet the heroine named Ebba. She's so cool and funny and loves her life with all of her six fathers (yes, six!). When they all arrive to a town for some business, that's when her once very sheltered life takes a turn for the most exciting adventure ever! I will definitely be reading book two!!

Rebel Born (Secondborn, #3) by Amy A. Bartol

Overall, an original SF/dystopian/fantasy series! The third book did contain a lot of new situations and plots, but throughout the series you had a feeling there was more to Roselle's story/adventure waiting to come out. As in the previous books, the suspense and action were there, plus many funny moments. And of course, plot and character twists that will take you by surprise!!! For me, as always, Roselle and Reykin were my favorite characters in this series! I couldn't wait to reach the end of the book to see who made it out!

The Mystery of Three Quarters (New Hercule Poirot Mysteries, #3) by Sophie Hannah

Again, I just had to read it! It's a Poirot mystery! This time, many angry people are accusing Hercule Poirot of sending slanderous letters to them. What's really going on?... Great to read during vacation! I hope there are more books to come.

* many thanks to my local library. :)

Closed Casket (New Hercule Poirot Mysteries, #2) by Sophie Hannah

A Hercule Poirot mystery! Yes, it's a new take on Mr. Poirot, but I loved it! When it comes to reading it, it was a slow-paced book to read, but the mystery and suspense were there. Great books to read on vacation!

Binti (Binti, #1) by Nnedi Okorafor

This was a short story, but it held my attention from the beginning. The heroine's story was very unique, and the world around her was really cool to read. Some parts of the story... just wow! I will definitely keep reading. :)

Wake Me After the Apocalypse by Jordan Rivet

Joanna's journey takes her down a path of discovery about herself as she tries to survive. It's hard for her at first, especially since she grew very close to her original crew. However, as her story progresses, you see how she changes for the better at the end, even with the few unexpected twists that she has to confront. It's not really a fast paced book, but the story itself is original and makes you keep reading until the end. Hope there is a second book on Joanna!

Singular (Quantum Gate #1) by Eric Warren

A New Original YA Cyberpunk Thriller!

Seriously, I can't wait to read book two and see what happens next! Arista is a somewhat complicated person, but as the story progresses she starts to see that even the machines need help too. An original world that makes you keep reading. It has mystery, suspense, and it's quite funny too! Charlie was very creepy, and Jonn, yikes, what happened to him? I hope Arista and Frees are able to find what they are looking for.

The Reprisal (The After Trilogy Book 3) by Kelly St. Clare

Totally recommend this YA SF series! It was original, the characters were great, and the suspense was there from book one. In this story, questions were answered, OMG twists were resolved, and overall, I just loved this book. I was rooting for Romy and Knot 27 till the end!

Traitor Born (Secondborn, #2) by Amy A. Bartol

OMG, what just happened?!!!! I couldn't put this book down. Roselle still rocks as the heroine! The twists were everywhere. The action, the heartbreak moments, the intrigue, the mystery, and the romance... Definitely reading book three ( I'm still rooting for Reykin!).

Secondborn (Secondborn #1) by Amy A. Bartol

This book rocks! It has mystery, science fiction, action, and romance!!! Loved all the characters. Especially Roselle. She tries so hard to do what is good in this scary dystopian world that she lives in. There's so much going on throughout the story that some moments caught me off guard. I can't wait to read book two! I hope we see more of Reykin! :)
